not knowing a minor is a minor when molesting/raping them is not a defense under the law, at least here in the states. consent to a criminal act does not constitute valid legal consent.

i hated how they had to bring up his religion too. (WHAT RELIGION???)
but the minister's daughter is okay.. 
Hanbali, i don't think displaced was defending anyone. she just said the fault should not only go to him. the child looked like she was enjoying herself. and i agree.

I like Akon's music and sound, but when I see this boy's music videos, I wonder what a supposedly good Muslim boy is doing producing such explicit lyrics and videos. I know none of us are perfect, but really. Couldn't he use his fame to be a good Muslim role model rather than continuing to promote themes such as "smackin that" or whatever he says.

Obviously he's in the wrong, but she supposedly was tricked into using a fake id and going to a huge rap event? Then again supposedly tricked into some contest...and then tricked into holding on and not putting up a fight when he was doing those grotesque things?
Just seems to me that when that video came out...suddenly she had quite a different outlook on everything...

I mean they check ID for alcohol why the heck don't they check it for clubs ?
That case I did recently. One of the things we knew was that the idiot had strippers performing in an environment where under 16 year olds were present and their father thought that was perfectly acceptable....We couldn't get him on the underage people being present but we got him on the other issues.

she's 15. She isn't a baby. Surely she would have been fully aware of her actions. She should have some responsibility too. How was he supposed to know she was underage? I'm not saying what he did was right, but would there have been as much uproar if she was 18?
