There's a big difference in memorising, correct interpretation and understanding let alone living in accordance

No its an unfair comparison. I don't know many Christians personally. I'm merely making an observation. For example, there are probably many Bhuddists who know their writings and Hindus who know theirs too.

Yeah, revert said it.
Plus, why the need to go off on a tangent? The real point is it is impossible to ban something that will live on in the hearts and minds of people, unless you want to start executing.

Don't you think the "nice try" bit is rather childish.?
The point I was making was that on this forum and in looking around the world at Islam in practise, I see many differences in interpretation and application, do you not agree?

I think the thread had already moved to a tangent, my reply to Revert perhaps explains to some degree my comment on the tangent , which was, that at least to me, understanding and application is the important aspect , not the act of memorising, impressive as that might be.

lol, and how many Christians do you know that have understanding of their 'religion' and apply it? How many divisions do you guys have in Christianity again? There is difference of interpretation and application regarding everything in life, not only religion but Islam comes the closest to people that actually do something for the sake of their deen and Lord.

What I wrote applies, as you say to all religions and indeed to just about any organisation, so I fail to understand why, yet again you find it necessary to go on the defensive with an attack, it seems to me you are very unsure of yourself. however I'm glad you agree with me that deeds are more convincing than words, whether memorised, or not
