22 members of my family were slaughtered in 1991 whilst the Arab and Muslim world looked on in silence and even happiness. I was in fact born in an Iraqi prison after my parents were arresed in the 80s for belonging to a Shia political party.

I think there is some phallic activity you would want to engage in with Mr Israel "killing 3000 refugees in Sabra and Shatila is the top of the iceberg" and USA. Dog.

geez, more big talk, from the big tough guy.
You could go and sit on the Lebanese border and shoot your rifle at passing Israeli patrols. You'd be like a hero. You should go and do it.

Re: Violence escalates between Sunni and Shia in Beirut
Heba, I am so sorry to hear about your family. May Allah grant them Jannah and make it easy for your family.
I don't understand how people can defend people who are killing Muslims. When the military of a non-Muslim land does it, it's SO wrong, and yet Muslims kill Muslims and they can be defended? How? Killing Muslims is wrong no matter who does it. It's like, Muslims are their own worst enemies sometimes.

I know Heba personally and I didn't think for one second that she was lying. I know tons of other Lebs and they've all reported similar incidents about their families, or friends, or people from their villages / towns back home in Lebnaan.
Have some shame yourself, grow a freaking spine and summon the courage to publicly condemn this cowardly act of shooting an unarmed girl in the back as she was trying to save her own life.
And if you can't be man enough to do as I asked, then its okay ... we all understand. You've probably engaged in plenty of oral phallic activity with Mr. Nasrallah himself.

now this guy is not even some kind of 'abcd' or even an 'abca'. he was born and raised in Iraq. So i resent the whole 'abcds are like this or that' blah blah blah. Let me reiterate. im simply basing my views off of the al jazeera reports, which you can watch for yourself on youtube. there has been alot of disinformation going on in the western media. For example, the torching down of Sa'ad Harriri's Future TV building, was not done by Hezbullah. Al Jazeera had exclusive interviews with the actual guy's who lit the building on fire, and they were from a pro-syrian SOCIALIST party. My only point is that this latest conflict is political and has more to do with politics than anything sectarian. Im the first to admit im a full supporter of sipah - e - sahaba. never mind propoganda or words, actions speak louder than words. and what hezbullah did after the isreali withdrawal in 2000 of the last and final isreali troops left lebanon after 22 year's during thier occupation of lebanese soil was phenominal to say the least. they succeeded where every arab nation since 1948 failed. There are reports coming in of civilians being targeted. My only thing is that these are coming on the orders of nasrallah himself, but by trigger happy gunmen, who are mostly young guys in thier late teen's and 20's. However having said that. i was watching bbc world news last night, and they had a man screaming into the camera's saying in arabic accent 'WHAT IS THIS??!! NASRALLAH PROMISED HE WOULD NEVER TURN HIS GUNS INSIDE LEBANON ON THE LEBANESE PEOPLE'. the man saying it was a christian, and obviously had relatives who died in this latest round of clashes. but he does have a point that is worth looking into. If nasrallah was upset over his communication network trying to be taken over by the govt of siniora, then he should went after the govt itself instead of targeting pro-govt political party's, like those led by sa'ad harriri. and notice something here, this is a political problem, not a sectarian one.
having said that, as far as sa'ad harriri is concerned, the truth is he simply took over after his father's assasination. and i think his father, rafiq harriri, did an amazing job in rebuilding lebanon from its devastation civil war. It was a daam shame when he was assasinated. and in my honest opinion, i dont think hezbullah would have been able to rebuild lebanon the way rafiq harriri, a wealthy billionare and engineer, was able to do. obviously back in the 80's, and the 90's, many lebanese fled the devastating civil war that wracked thier country. I myself had met many lebanese families here, both muslim and christian, during that period in the early 90's, and the christians never held any resentment against the muslims even though they had to flee thier country.

Re: Violence escalates between Sunni and Shia in Beirut
I don't know what big difference you see between the way Al Jazeera is reporting and other media outlets. I'm not getting a huge emphasis on the Sunni/Shia thing in the sources I'm reading. It's there, it's mentioned and that's about it.

I don't think they'd have you... ...just as I don't think nasrallah's group would have AbuSadiq..
Nasrallah's group is a small group of well trained commando's. They do not permit '20 year olds idiots' to use their name.
If you're going to engage in apologetics sit down and think first.

Re: Violence escalates between Sunni and Shia in Beirut
Hebs, I am so sory for your loss.
I cannot believe these people, shooting fellow muslims, fighting over trivial things "Oh, you believe in Mohammad! WE ARE SUNNI AND THE BEST" "Oh, you believe in Aly! YOU MUST DIE!" ignorant fools....maybe the world does deserve to end.

Its not a huge sunni-shia beef. The fighting is between all religious groups involved including Christians and Druze. This is a political conflict and there's no need to turn it into a sectarian as some idiots on this forum have decided to turn it into.
To my brothers and sisters in Islam, the first and foremost characteristic of the Anbiyyah (alaihumus salam) was forebearance. Look beyond the propaganda and realize that this is another great game battle. Transcend the microscopic and see whats happening at the macroscopic level.
