Agreed. I was just mentioning their stated justifications for attacking their targets.

There's WAY too much physical evidence, and lack of it, that contradicts the official story.
In light of such conditions, I believe the USG is implicit in the 9/11 attacks, if and if indeed they weren't responsible for it directly. I view 9/11 in the same vein as a string of other false flag attacks or events such as the Lusitania, Pearl Harbor, Gulf of Tonkin, Gulf War One, etc etc.
There's major amounts of money to be made off of war and a lot of people will go to great lengths to ensure that the spice keeps flowing.

So what's the evidence? MC posted some, and you dismissed it out of hand. What have you got?

Are you serious? Do you realize this "Shaykh" Usama has no credentials to even call himself an ALIM??? What kind of religious training has this joker had? Do you realize this? When he came out with his 1996 "fatwa" all the real scholars were scratching their heads thinking "okay who gave this guy authority to issue fatwas?"
May Allah save us from the extremism of "Shaykh" Usama and others like him. Ameen.
Stop overanalyzing the conspiracy theories. The Muslim world and the Muslim mind seem to be OBSESSED with conspiracy theories. Just get the hell over it. If I am not mistaken, I was told by my professor that the "Israel did it" or "American did it" conspiracy theory actually surfaced as a joke in Egypt or something and soon caught on as a valid theory. I will inshallah ask him to be sure and get back to this thread.

You're being either facetious, or horribly naive.
For all our sakes, I hope its the former.

Indeed. He's even said that his video isn't fake.
But seriously, Bin Laden has been dead since December, 2001, so any audio or video tape purported to be made by him after that, is a forgery.
As for his top lieutenant, he's as suspicious as Adam Gadahn is. Al-Qaida really isn't all it's cracked up to be.

No... I'm asking a question. MC came up with a statement allegedly made by bin Laden - you've rejected it without giving any reason to suspect the contrary (other than your own opinion laden with insults - which I realize is your MO) You've brought a lot less to the table than he has...

The reason why it was summarily rejected, and the reason why I don't have to "bring" anything to the table because the official story as told by the USG is so extremely absurd that its inherently insulting for anyone between the ages of 20 - 60 to put it forward.
Furthermore, evidence showing the impossibility of the USG's official line on 9/11 is all over the internet and on Islamica as well. Why re-hash the issue?
Yes, if anyone on Islamica blindly repeats the USG's line on 9/11 ... I will laugh at them, mock them, insult them, I will be insulted myself, etc etc. Such people dont even deserve the brain that God gave them.

What’s the official line from Washington… that terrorists flew air craft into the WTC and the Pentagon? Cuz uh yeh…that’s pretty far out there.
It may be summarily rejected by you and Kaminyu. It sounds to me like you’re substituting any real argument with severe language and insults. I’ve seen Kaminyu’s websites, from ‘all over the internet’ which I suppose would satisfy someone who couldn’t possibly believe that it was anything other than a massive conspiracy by the evil Neo-cons and/or the Mossad. And any emerging evidence contrary to their solidified belief could only be doctored items which only serve to further ‘prove’ the depth of the conspiracy.
So from where I’m sitting, I see examples of terrorist attacks, beginning in the early 90’s and increasing, with corroborating statements by those responsible, including Osama bin Laden, from media both inside and outside the Western world.
And then on the other side, I see you: “no, it’s not true, idiots, dummies, stupid-heads… it’s not true… retards, dum-dum brains [etc. etc.]” - and nothing else.
I think I’ll take option A with a pinch of salt.
