No comment on the branch davidian remark...
If they're that hell bent on blaming a man for something he didn't do, and this is their sole reason for rejecting dawah, then I cannot help them.
I would hope that they would be a bit more understanding of the laws of this country...habeas corpus, innocent until proven guilty and all that...
A little reason goes a long way

First of all, you were commenting on the authenticity of the video. Bin Laden stated that he is responsible for the 9/11 attacks on multiple audio and video tapes that he produced and distributed. His top lieutenant has also done the same thing many times.
Secondly, that isnt the official opinion of the FBI, that is some BS made up by a blogger and quoted by cultists and wackos like the branch davidian/militia nut whose article you posted.
But to get back to the important issue: your reaching out to Americans is ineffective, pointless, and counterproductive when you tell them that you support Osama Bin Laden. You hurt muslims and Islam in American when you do that.
All Bin Laden and Taliban supporters in America are a parasitic burden on the rest of the muslims here.

Linguists/bin ladin experts agree that the tapes after the interview with ummat are all fakes.
I hope you can learn to stop blaming your brothers based solely upon the lies of those who only wish to cover up truth for their own gain...

Their attacks up to and including September 11th, were to take revenge for what they saw as the sacreligious stationing of American soldiers on the Arabian peninsula, and support for Israel.

Re: Al-Qaeda Chief Slams Muslims for Lack of Support
Even when a large number did support him, most of it was because of his grievances [Saudi bases, Palestine, etc.], not his tactics.

I reckon 9/11 will be a highlight on the Day of Judgement.

Usama denies this completely...

Incidentally, Syed Qutb was actually quite a good writer. A lot of his work is interesting, but although some of his writing seems quite radical, it seems to me that he was writing more to shake Muslims up and awaken them from their sleepwalking slumber. Al-Qaeda and others used his writings, ratcheted it up a whole lot, to say, "hey yeah let's blow some **** up!"
|
Yeah, Syed Qutb was the man. I think Sh. Azzam (RH) was probably a good example of what Syed Qutb was looking for. OBL & co take things to another level beyond that, and that is where most Muslims who respect Sh. Azzam (RH) part ways with him.

If you are claiming that the US Federal government's official position is that Bin Laden is not responsible for 9/11, then you need to think about that for a second

There are alot of goals. Government overthrows are the main goals as far as I can see. Replacement of arab governments with their own government. Their ideology is basically the state ideology of the "Islamic State in Iraq" in Ramadi, Fallujah, Tal Afar, and other towns in Western Iraq, and their governing methods are the methods by which those towns were administered. Those are the only places I know of where Al-Qaeda ever took a lead role in governing, but ideological allies like the Taliban have held power elsewhere so one can look there too. For the philosophy behind it all, I guess Azzam and so on are the main sources
