typical. someone tries to do something positive and gets criticism for one reason or another.

this reminds me of when no one wanted to step up and be MSA president. the e-board elected me and oh my God...all the criticism I got because I don't wear hijab. people stopped coming to the meetings. it made me so angry. all they wanted to do was sit on their lazy butts and complain.

I was the Vice President of our MSA for a few years even though I didn't wear hijab...I wanted to help out and yes some people did look at me differently because I didn't wear it. I think because I had been elected to that position I was well respected in the MSA Alham. I think one issue though people pointed out about Queen Rania is if she comments about Islam. She said women don't have to wear hijab. She should research the topics beforehand. Maybe ask a Shaikh/Imam about those kinds of issues. But it sounds like she's mainly talking about Arabs and Arab culture not necessarily representing Muslims from the videos.
