Thats not anything new 0.5% is the alcohol level of Non Alcoholic beers which have been deemed permissable by many Sunni Scholars.
Youe being deceptive on purpose and you have no idea about levels of alcohol.

Yusuf al-Qaradawi's fatwa says a level of 0.5% is allowed, whereas most Muslims would say alcohol of any quantity is banned.

Uk standards are 0.05% not 0.5%, which is clearly very different. Disregard what I said.

I'm not talkign about Islam i'm talking about levels of alcohol defined by the appropriate governing bodies.
