I saw a headline that Nick wants to do a teen pregnancy special. That makes me angry. Like people already said, teens get pregnant everyday. Why is this little girl getting so much press? What about that Whale Rider chick? where was HER special? And would they have done that if say, one of the channels minority actresses had gotten pregnant. I am SO mad! But then, I am just feeling angry today.

It's not racist for 'trailer trash' isn't a race. It's not insulting to a economical status, for one does not need to live in a trailer in order to be considered 'trailer trash', similar to the word 'ghetto'. One can absolutely be ghetto and not live in one. Both trailer trash and ghetto are used to describe people who have little to no class.

I'm fed up of people thinking it's OK to use the term trailer trash.. I'm so ashamed of the way I used to use it on a daily basis as a teen.. I see no difference in using the terms trailer trash and name-calling other ethnicities such as.... lets say.. *cough cough* black communities.. Oh but of course when that's done we're all up in arms about it

Grow up people and think before you speak. And then when someone tells you they're offended try using your brain to accept it and learn from it instead of justifying it. Thanks.

According to my experience, trailer trash is used exclusively for white people which is why some people think they're clever by saying it and thinkin they can get away with it as it does not include a colour. It's obvious which ethnicity people are referring to when using the term "trailer trash" much like the term "pikey" here in the UK..

Calling somebody moron or stupid is different from calling them trailer trash. And in any case, somebody who gets pregnant young isn't necessarily stupid (or "trailer trash").

It's very possible to be offended even when you're not the one being insulted.
