Pakistans Gun Market
Assalam Alaykum,
This is an interesting video which Arabesque actually mentioned to me. Some of you have probably watched it already, but here it is anyways. It's about one of the World Largest Illegal Arms Market which is based in a town called Darra in Pakistan.

Musharaf's face is illegal.
If he doesn't like what Pakhtuns do in Pakhtunkhwa he should take his raggedy fake 'tache and go back to hindustan

I'm saying obey the laws of the land. Islam and Pathan-Walghi are the law of subah sarhad. That was the basis on which the Pakhtuns joined up with the federation.
If Musharaf doesn't like that he should remove himself to hindustan.
Pakhtun-khwa has never been and will never be Hindustan.

That's interesting, because a lot of people in that area want the benefits of being part of greater Pakistan, but they aren't willing to live under Pakistani law, or do things like pay for electricity. Greater Pakistan is not Hindustan, certainly it wasn't the last time I looked at a map.

Lets back up.
Pakistani law permitted the people in Pakhtun-Khwa to live according to Pakhtun-wali and sharia.
THAT was the basis on which the Pakhtuns joined Pakistan. We don't break our word but we are familiar with Lota's.
Greater Pakistan ? Whats that ?

Greater Pakistan would be every other province... Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan etc. NWFP cannot be it's own country, neither can Balochistan. The only problem I have with implementing Shariah (or any other law in Pakistan really) is that the people who have authority to implement the laws are so corrupt (as are most of the people) that it's really worthless. It becomes almost a joke. I don't like my religion being made into a joke by other people for their personal ego trips.
What is the solution to the corruption? I really don't know. I get pretty depressed just thinking about it.

Re: Pakistans Gun Market
It's sad but in England you can't even buy a plastic air gun without ID and you have to buy it in person.

Didn't show anything when I bought any of mine. Unless there's been a recent change in the law.
But using anything more powerful than a vodka-filled supersoaker seems to become national news nowadays

Re: Pakistans Gun Market
Swee-freaking-eet!
My mamoo has a collection of guns (legal though, compleate with licensing) and he polishes them every so often when no one is home. He's taught his wife to shoot, mother, and every single nephew (my cousins). I had to badger him to show me them, and after 2 months of whining he finally took me to the village and showed me them. They were quite the intimidating things. I was awed by the size of them.
He would have taught me to shoot one of them, but it was in the middle of the night, and he said it would awaken the whole village and be a cause for alarm.
It seemed like a big deal to me to just have seen them, but I come from a family in which every male carries one (for protection, long story), some of my relatives even have armed gaurds at their doors, so its not really a big deal for anyone there.

An airsoft? Mate, get a proper air rifle. I wouldn't trust any online gun shop, they all store your details. Try a gun shop (plenty in Mancunia), or better yet private sellers through Loot - That's where I got my first rifle (aged 11). Most owners are a trustworthy bunch who won't fleece you.
Then practice, practice, practice. Start with a .22 cheap and you can pick up pellets at any angling store. Having a good shot will be a very useful skill in any future urban war/zombie infestation. Plus the chicks dig it. Well maybe not, but at least you'll be able to shoot them if they try to leave you.
