Re: shahnawaz will start crying over this LOL
a qualitative survey does not generates hypotheses but cannot prove or even support them. incidentally what was described in that article wasnt a qualitative study either. It was not any form of scientific analysis of any kind.
I wasnt blaming you for anything just suggesting that you learn how to link. inshallah you will do that.
Pakistan is not effectively fighting the Taliban. If they were or if others came into Pakistan to do it for them then the Taliban in pakistan would be crushed and scattered in much the same way the Taliban in Afghanistan has been.

Afghanis despise the Taliban, plain and simple.

There are other surveys that show similar results. Nowhere in the Muslim world is support for the US higher than in Afghanistan, because they're the only ones who have lived under the Taliban, and they know how horrible the Taliban are.
Taliban are done. Democrary will rule.

Re: shahnawaz will start crying over this LOL
its amusing how a bengali accuses anyone who despises the taliban as hating Islam.
i'm sorry, the taliban were the scum of the Ummah. Inshallah may Mullah Dadullah burn in Hell.

This thread had nothing to do with his ethnicity but you brought it up- you obviously intended to make some underhand comment about his ethnicity.
Ain't you happy ethnic slur slinging with Legaleagle? Why do you want to start with more people?

cool off and stop with the personal attacks. if you have an actual topic title that doesn't involve calling out other members then use it.
there are several threads which are being derailed by personal attacks, and it will stop or further off-topic posts will be deleted. people who persist in engaging in this sort of behavior may find themselves taking an enforced vacation from the forums.

This came from one of your links which you posted apparently to bolster your argument that the Taliban enjoy popular support...
"This is no government-in-waiting. This is no popular resistance movement such as the Soviet forces faced in the 1980s. This is a brutal and nasty insurgency in which Afghans accused of spying are beheaded, doctors are assassinated and aid workers kidnapped.
I was in Ottawa recently speaking to a civil servant involved in the Afghan mission. She told me with some frustration that the Canadians opened a clinic hospital just outside Kandahar city, with the local tribal chief's blessing. His son was sick and was treated by Canadian doctors. Almost as soon as it opened the clinic was burned down and the tribal chief killed. The message was clear: do not co-operate with any western force - on pain of death.
The statistics bear this out. In the first seven months of 2006, there were 202 recorded attacks on schools across the country. In the same time period, 600 civilians were killed or wounded. In about 70% of the cases, the attacks were linked to the Taliban. This figure comes from the respected Afghan Independent Human Rights Commission."

Re: Sunni Group Attacks Al-Qaeda Base
its amazing how people blindly support them. This is basically the same thing as how Germans blindly supported Nazis.
