^ but sunni/shia violence has been happening for a long long time way before this current pakistan situation, my point is aslong sunni hatred of shias and to a lesser extent shia hatred of sunnis continue the violence will continue forever. Some one needs to end this.

also that shia scholar is so correct and humbling, but what about sunni scholars, have they said some thing like this ever? i dont remember atleast. clearly you can see who is more wrong, the silience of sunnis speaks a lot of what they think of shias

Dude, India is not too far from Pakistan, is it? and their agents are active in Pakistan. so are opratives from US and Israel.

So, how can you deny that the possiblity exists?
lol you really think India is going to send troops to Lahore? Get real.

Blaming outsiders is a big cop out, when you're unwilling to admit the problems of Pakistan stem from its policies of the dictator (who was also US funded) Gen. Zia ul-Haq.

I dont know about the past but in recent times sunnis are responsible for much of the violence, there is no denying in this. Infact i have noticed Shias rarely take revenge against sunnis after the attacks.
Not really true. Shi'as in Pakistan has always retaliated swiftly when their kin are murdered.

In Iraq, it took a huge attack to retaliate, which was the bombing of a shrine in Samarra, Iraq in February 2006.

Killing shias is the perfect approach for the Pakistani Taliban. First, it serves the usual purpose of terrifying the population into submission (the only thing the Taliban know how to do), with the usual implication that the government cannot protect the people. But it also gets in a shot in the Sunni/Shia war, thereby holding on to some Sunni hearts as well.

"People of Pakistan! The Government cannot protect you! And we're proving it by blowing you up in your schools, markets and playing fields using civilian vehicles!"

Quote from the article:

Quote:
Police said Friday's bombing in Lakki Marwat city, not far from South Waziristan, was possible retaliation for local residents' efforts to keep militants out of the area.

"The locality has been a hub of militants. Locals set up a militia and expelled the militants from this area. This attack seems to be reaction to their expulsion," local police chief Ayub Khan told reporters.
The Taliban are dirty and dishonorable.

Im assuming this is probably why God told us NOT to make little groups in Islam in the first place. Now its suddenly ok to be killing your own brothers and sisters in Islam.
