Anywho about the whole cyber 'jihadi'* thing, Its extremely important especially for converts to not only find a cause, but a group, many people like me have many options, yet Fighting Is not the only way to change something, raising awareness here and abroad, spreading information, speaking in public, soo many ways to wage jihad without killing a man.

Yes indeed. Those who wage jihad feesabeelillah are refered to as mujahideen. This meaning the physical act of fighting the enemies of Allah(SWT). But, you can't really be considered a mujahid untill that takes place.

As for my opinions of Br. Samir, I think that he is doing a good thing. In his old site there was much beneficial articles/videos/lectures on the topic. I have learned a lot from it and ask Allah(SWT) to bless him for compiling it all. Scholars, and people in general shy away from the topic of jihad and because of it we have ignorance about it amongst the muslims.

Yet Do you really have to engage in physical fighting, What about a battle of Ideals like what Br. Samir is doing?

Shariah rulings are pretty specific on what constitutes a "real" Jihad...read around and find out. Ranting on the net like Samir is not a struggle of any kind, its wasting time in your parents back room.


To be considered a Mujahidin you have to be on the frontlines with a weapon in your hands and Islam in your heart.
