Cool, I usually put it on then smudge it with an angle brush. Think that will work with the loreal one you mentioned?

pencil, I want to be able to smudge it. If I get a good pencil, I'll spend $10 on it (or more)

"dear Anonymous,
it's still so hard to really accept that you're gone for good. i think that's the only way that i can cope with it. it just feels like i haven't visited you in a long time. i have no motivation to finish that project you would always ask me about, because it's meaningless if you're not here to share my victories and losses i miss you so much. i hope that you're resting in peace and comfort somewhere, no longer in pain and suffering...and i hope that i can make you proud. it's only because of your duas that i will be happy and successful in life. i only wish i had told you that my love for you was timeless"
inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'oon. I felt exactly the same way about a year ago....still do really. i'm sorry for your loss. it's not easy.

Just remember to keep the heat down to 325-350 depending on how hot your oven cooks. Cooking it too fast and with too much heat makes squash tough and dry. My oven does well at 325 or so but it tends to cook hot. If you have one of those clay baking things (Romertopf) I think it's 225 or so cooking heat. I use mine sometimes if I'm not rushing to get dinner done (hah, like that happens as much as I'd like!). Otherwise I use enamel-covered steel or glassware. Plain steel makes it taste kind of funny...to me at least.

Have you tried roasting squash and apples together? I like to halve 4-6 apples (any baking variety), cut 1 large squash up into large chunks, cut up a half stick of real butter over it and then sprinkle 1/4cup brown sugar and 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice plus 1/2 tsp cardamom over all. Bake for 40 minutes and then roast for 5minutes. I like to sprinkle a handful of raisins or dried cranberries or cherries in during the roasting stage for a bit of added flavor. That works for baking or stewing too.

And its cheap and easy! I also like to roast squash with olive oil and various seasonings...depending on what I have a taste for that day- sometimes sweet, sometimes spicy, sometimes Middle Eastern.

Check the pumpkin flan recipe I just added. It's delicious!

haha yeah, the halal chinese place actually delivers to us. it's a plus, but i haven't ordered from there in a while. how do you like flushing? what neighborhoods are you looking for an apt in? i was raised in queens too, but i feel like i need a change from this place. driving is a nightmare and i don't know if i want to raise my son in queens. the plus is that it's convenient and diverse.
