oh, and i don't really care.
"Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless--like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash! Be water, my friend." - Bruce Lee |
(Smiles.) No bro, that is not what I meant at all. It is a necessity that he should stay home to eat, sleep, relax. Not keep him home 24/7.
JazakAllahu khair for your appreciated du'aas, aameen! I really enjoyed reading it. Likewise, brother, aameen.
But to answer your last post, keeping him at home, even he can decide to do something bad there if he wanted, but it is necessary for him to stay home. He has no choice. Same with college. He has to go. You can do bad anywhere in the world. Even at your own house. It is just a matter of necessity.
With all due respect, I do understand a lot of your points and agree with them as well.
My little bro is like my best friend. And I will make sure that he is doing what he wants to do as long as it is the most righteous act. He is very close to Allah so he does choose Him before anything else, maashaa'Allah, and usually decides to do what is best. I do not want to force him into anything and I will only guide him to what he wants to become. And I have trust that what he decides to do in his future, inshaa'Allah, will be something very very very beneficial for him not only in this life, but in the next as well. We don't tell him to do things, we ask him, al-hamdulillah.
Allahu 'Aalim.
btw, we're neighbours..
i think, FOB is spelled F. O. B...not FIB
(Btw: capitilization was in plain amusement. i wasn't shocked or anything).
