hey! how's the pregnancy going? how are you feeling? hope everything's good with you.

just fine. I have another appointment next week. I'm strugling with a take-home exam right now. Trying to search the web for a solution. Then I have to study for my other exam. I'm going to be SO happy when this week is over!

alhamdulillah, glad to hear that you don't have morning sickness too bad!! I spent most of my first trimester looking down the toilet (at least, that's what it felt like!). alhamdulillah, I'm glad that stage is over, hehe. I also had (and continue to have) really bad backaches, so I can sympathize. don't worry though, the second trimester gets a lot better! that's when your belly really starts to grow and you begin to feel movements.. it's an awesome time.

I'm 7 months (29 weeks). I'm already ready for the baby to come, haha. the pregnancy charm is starting to wear off and I just want to see the lil one that kicks me constantly, heh.

hey, salamualaikum ... in reply to your question:

1) When I posted that name, I was deriving it from the Arabic name "3illyoun / 3illyeen" which is found in the Qur'an too ... its one of the names of one of the levels of Paradise [such as Firdaus being the name of the highest level] and from there I took the name "Illyana" as a girl's name.

2) There is a sis on Islamica ... I don't see her post anymore .. one of the old crew, I totally forgot her name .. she's in / from Cali ... she told me once that she had a nephew [not niece] named Illyaan or Illyeen or something almost very exactly like the actual name of that level of Jannah. If I remember her name or see her on here again I'll let you know inshallah

3) I think its also a girl's name in the Russian language -.... illyana ... try finding someone who speaks Russian to tell you what it means in their language.
