here you go, http://www.techepics.com/files/topgear_f1.jpg. basically they do their testing every year on britain's famous track before their big race there in the summer. well my bros like to go watch and take pics. basically, i'm being dragged down there with them. you have to PAY to see a GLIMPSE of a car whizzing by you.

i'm only going because they promised to take me to that areas desi central [which is quite famous, i've never been there. it's way outta London] afterwards to buy some pretty things. there'll be yummy food too so i'm not complaining.

plus the bhabi's going and you know, girl power and stuff. yeah.

i was more like " WHAT on earth is this girl on?" but's it's okay. knowing him, he probably forgot he saw half his class in the corridor once he got back to his lecture. and monday coming up's bank holiday. i don't need to see him, ever again [unless i fail ].

sooooooooo i'm going formula 1 testing on my birthday. it's at times like this i wish i had a sister to knock some sense into my brothers!

you're telling me?! monday last week, i had a phil lecture in the morning. i couldn't keep my eyes open for the first half. i'm really not exaggerating...i don't fall asleep in public but this lecture was SO boring and it didn't help that i only had like 4hrs sleep the previous night. anyway, so he gives us a 15min break after which, the lecture continues. wellll there were about 10 students in total and well, 4 of them are my girls. so 5 of us left for a break with no intention to go back. on our way out of the building, the prof was on his way back to the lecture...just our luck. and he was like [POSH ACCENT] oh i see, are you girls coming back?[/POSH ACCENT] remember my innocent friend? yeah her: no, we'll see you next week . the rest of us:

no we had two philosophy assignments. one that i got the result for and now another one that counts as 70% of the final grade.

i actually went in today. to give my girls their books. i promised them i would and i felt bad sitting on them when they could be putting them to some use.

that doesn't mean i went to my lectures.

oh! and i saw your creations on your blog. mmmmmasha Allah. so when can you start making me some pretty stuff to wear?

i've been working on my phil essay. it's so confusing. this really is the last time i use the flip-a-coin method to pick a module.

It is good to know but to be honest standard bengali doesn't come that useful living in a place like London, except maybe when coming across a random person who speaks it or watching one of those bangla-channels on TV. But you're right it is still a good language-skill to have just in case we need it

alhamdulillah my standard bengali is quite good, at secondary / high-school I took GCSE in Bengali and I think my time in Bangladesh greatly helped me get the grade I wanted As for my sylheti, I have no problem at all and I actually speak in sylheti with my parents all the time. I remember there used to be a Bangla-thread on SV-forums, used to be quite fun and interesting. I wonder how many people on this forum would take part in such a thread. Do you speak Bengali at home?

remember that philosophy assignment? yeah, i got my grade. i really couldn't believe it but alhamdulillah! he says i got a B++, wth?

the calculations looked wrong so i added up all the marks and according to my calculations, I got a pretty high A. maybe that's what he means by B++. stooopid philosophers.

i might ask him about it but can i be bothered?
