So should motivation and discipline. I wish we could inject some of that into our veins.
Then I'd get off Islamica and go do my readings.

Why on earth is a High-Five called a "High-Five"?
Also, I just did something that I'm sure is very haraam, so please make dua that my prayers for forgiveness are accepted.

Abu Hazim replied, “Because you have built and established this world and you have destroyed your Aakhirah, so you hate to go from what you have established to what you have destroyed.”

My living room tv finally works, after like 7 months of being broken. Of course, I have to move and sell it in 4 months.

Re: My thoughts of the day...
My assignment is only half complete and it is already 2 AM.
I have to submit it tomorrow. I know its my fault. I had sufficient time.
I think im pulling an all-nighter.

Re: My thoughts of the day...
when its the same to you (meaning when ur un-affected either way) whether ppl flock around you, or ignore you, then you'll find Allah
then once u do
u'll be transparent and see thru, such that if ppl sit with you, its like they're sitting with Allah and His angels
cuz the ego isnt blocking that flow of His blessings thru ur being
but now at this moment, the ego is veiling that from happening
and wanting to draw attention to itself, to strengthen and make firm its own presence
"look at me, look at me" (i.e. dont look thru me)
and now hearing that... I am oddly confused as to the true normalcy and best nature we can attain... but these words... though a little blasphemous to my ears hold truth to about the ego... there's this veil... attention gives you this thrill but fleeting it is...
