sometimes i wonder what's wrong with people... then i look at myself and i know.
they are human just like i am (although sometimes i feel like i'm a reptile, or a fish or some cold-bloodied mammal, or a dolphin). and we all screw up every once in a while. some more than others. but the point is, we all do. so it's kinda ok. unless, you really SCREW UP!. like i did that one time. when i left the stove on and left the house. for hours!!! (well, in case you're wondering, there was nothing on the stove. cuz, well, you see i don't have a fireplace in my house so when i'm in the kitchen, i turn the stove on and get the fire going and pretend it's my fireplace. it works for me. until, that is, i try lying in front of the fireplace and reading a book, cuz the kitchen floor is mad cold! even with the stove on!! cuz the stove is much much taller than the floor. which is like not tall AT ALL. so the logistics don't allow for the floor to get warm. unless, i buy an old fashioned stove thingy that's short and sits on the floor...) anyhoo, i should've been more careful. cuz i can't always get away with doing such things just cuz i'm blonde. cuz i'm not. i'm whatever color my hijab is that day. and to my knowledge, i don't own any blonde hijabs. so there.

diagnosis of the day: "swallowed finger nail polish"
... as opposed to "toe nail polish". cuz we all know how completely different that is from "finger nail polish". you can't alternate the two otherwise you'll end up having to call your big toes "thumbs" and wear your engagement ring on your "ring toe" instead of your ring finger, or something. but i'm kinda missing the point here...

the thing (or the point) is, i too, once swallowed something that it is NOT normal to swallow. it wasn't a medicinal pill or a quarter or a key or pride or something people normally swallow. what it was, was a piece of jewelry. one minute i was playing with it and the next thing i knew, it was in my mouth. cuz back then, i was tiny and had a tiny brain and thusly, didn't know any better. well, i did know better but i was adventurous and liked living on the edge. so i had it in my mouth and then my cousin tackled me and then tickled me (in precisely that order) and i swallowed it (it might've been an earring, i'm not sure). i think i should've spit it out if the laws of physics are any good but i swallowed it, a rebel that i was. so yeah.
but that lady with the above-mentioned diagnosis wasn't three. so it got me thinking about underlying issues. and there we go. another lesson in being more understanding, tolerant, non-judgemental, humble etc. and that life is a pain in the "choose anatomical site of your own preference" for most of us already, without my adding to it or being one, myself. there. now i'm gonna go help an old lady cross the road. and then plant a tree, build a school, an orphanage and a hospital and then donate the extra lobes of my liver. and lungs. and heart. oh wait... no. i think i'm just gonna go cook something and clean something and continue to be miserably cold and heartless. well, not heartless. just cold. i just like the phrase "cold and heartless". cuz that's what i am. cold and heartless. but not heartless. just cold. i should go now...

when you should be doing something important you find yourself wasting time, you might not realize how valuable time is. then you're short a minute to answer the last question on the exam because you were compressing your empty brain cells hoping for something 'intelligent' to come out for the second last question...now you have guess, if there are 25 questions, its 4% of the total grade. if the exam is worth 50% of your overall course average thats a lot of marks...than you know the value of time and you think now you have a reason to change, a change to be someone better..alas the another green day, a recycle day...where your previous days' ideas and mistakes repeats itself..

now you're left with a quesiton: "so why am I living this day, if i am doing what I did yesterday..what difference would it make if i live or not"

Bismillah, I feel so content knowing that I began my day on the right track aka by catching the fajr salah al hamdoulilah. But, days where you feel there are certain things if I would have done, I would be much more content like leaving the house with a smile on my face, helping pack lunch, waking everyone up, sharing a joke, instead of rushing to catch my early morning class with billion flying thoughts in my head about my day, things I should remember to take, textbooks, printing notes, photocopying, making sure i get my fav study spot so and so forth. Often I feel I am so conditioned to believe its all about me, the day begins with me and ends with me. and just me. i know its not true, for there are others who matter in my life, sometimes i wonder do they know its not all for me, its for them...or may be It is just for me?

I've got about three more pages to go and and I've just written one and a half. And it's already 1:30pm, I just want to sleep.

Procrastination is the suck.

I met the most amayyyyyzing woman today. Strong, independant, influential, experienced, powerful...beautiful...everything.

And most of all, she was pretty damn inspirational.

Because I've realized I can be emotional and wimpy.

I hate that thing on Microsoft's website.
It's our homepage and everytime I open a new window, I get scared. 'Cause of the sound.

Hate websites with music/video on them. They should give you the option of whether or not you wanna play it.
