im getting sick fo' sure! i promised a friend that i'll see her after fajr for a nice long jog before we can hit our morning class together. but i dont want to cancel our get together for someting small as that? hopefully, i'll feel better by tomorrow morning

i spent the last 3 days studying islam in the mosque with a great great teacher, now back to revision and i cant revise......the change in focus is toooooooooooo difficult

lslam and studying knowledge in general really put things into perspective. but then you realise that studying a degree can be a source of ibadah and dawah. SO YOU HAVE TO DO IT.

At my last eye exam, I was asking the doctor about laser eye surgery and and if I'm still a candidate. I told the him "My prescription is pretty bad, go easy on me." When he pulled it up, he actually snorted and said "Yeah, pretty bad is putting it very mildly." I was so distraught.

But he also told me your prescription doesn't matter, so that cheered me up.
