so i had my facebook status all about how i hate MLA citations and crap, and i was doing my work all night..dreadfully so and making lots of mistakes and NOT having in me to care about fixing them..anyways i checked facebook like maybe once, and i didnt notice a post on my wall from af riend of mine giving me a link to a site which basically does everything for you..i didnt see it until RIGHT now and its CLEARLY too late to use it.

so im thinking Allah knows my intentions sucked when i was doing the work, and i wasnt into it cuz if i was just a little, i would've noticed that weblink from my friend earlier and it wouldve made things a heck lot easier.

My grandpa is in isolation now because he caught an infection. I hope he gets better soon and something unexpected doesnt happen and he takes a turn for the worse. May Allah grant him shifa and a long healthy life with my grandma, ameen

-----

something totally strange happened last night.

A lot of girls in the msa here are really strange...they're unfriendly and cold and clique-ish. I had class with one last semester before I became aware of things...she was pretty okay, friendly most of the time. Then I discovered when she's not in class wanting to borrow a pencil/paper she isnt as friendly...just says salaam etc and goes on...if friends are around however she rarely does more than look at me. In class I catch her staring at me or in my direction with a really grim look on her face. Picturing that look in my mind right now makes me want to smack her.

Anyway. There are other hijabis too that are the same and they're all in the same "group." Two of them esp never return my salaam and rarely initiate it even though they were both in a class with me last semester. It's so weird. So this is why the following situation was EXTREMELY frikkin awkward... I was walking to the bus stop and running a little late to my class. Three of these strange hijabis always get a ride from one friend. I saw one of them walking and said salaam and asked 'how are you' etc and she seemed kinda unresponsive. Anyway I walked about another block to the bus stop and was standing there when I heard a honk and the hijabis were waving at me shouting, "you want a ride?" What could I say? I didnt wanna walk or be late but didn't wanna go with them but I said yes to avoid being rude. I thought, 'hmm maybe it was my imagination that they were unfriendly.' haha yea right... I tried acting friendly and making conversation in the car but I got one word answers and they only talked to each other and made no attempt at talking to me. When we parked and got out I considered walking ahead but that would be rude so I waited for them....then they left ME behind and walked ahead chatting and goofing around. I'm still totally shocked at their behavior. I dont understand why they asked in the first place if they're just going to outright snub me...and what the hell did I ever EVER do to them? I hate people like that

----

I still cant stop thinking about that thing I found out about someone who is really close to me.

So I sent myself my final draft of my research paper and stopped by one of the computer labs to print it off before class this morning. Turns out my stupid word program or gmail or something messed up and sent me the rough draft instead when I specifically sent the final draft. I came home and pressed 'save' on the final draft like 100 times and tried again but it still sent me the non-updated version. I had to copy-paste and resave, all the while freaking out that it's not saving and I'm gonna lose my hard work. Well it worked alhamdulillah but now I have to go out again and print and walk all over the place to get it accomplished. I freaking hate technology and microsoft word and googletalk/gmail and research papers!! I have such a short fuse lately!!!
