My thoughts of the day...

A friend and I had a misunderstanding and she went off. I gave her three days to cool down before I explained myself. She broke all ties with me. I talked about the situation with people who didn't know her and who encouraged me to keep calling her after those three days and try and clear it up with her (literally 7 calls--until I just left her a voicemail).

She had made this hole into a mountain and I cleared it up alhumdullah by staying calm and thoughtful. Later she admitted that she talked about me to people I knew. Alhumdullah I didn't ask advice from people we both knew or I suspect that would have made things really messy.

I am kinda irked talking about it, but I wanted to impart this valuable lesson.

Alhumdullah we're friends now. Even though deep inside I am injured.

I saw a drunk dude in the process of passing out behind Sobey's tonight. (like...sliding down the wall)

It made me miss Latin America.

i think one of the reasons it might be really frowned upon in islam to let yourself get angry/out of control is because when you're so emotional, you can end up admitting the truth about how you feel about something or someone sometimes..and there are some things that just dont need to be publicized..like, we're all humans, we cant hold the whole world in a perpetually goo goo gaga everythings beautiful you rock type perspective and there are things we dislike but dont absolutely need to voice and that comes out when you're mad. along with a lot of other stuff also of course, that needs to be conveyed but in a less violent manner which is why it's always better to speak to someone after you're over the extreme resentment phase.

alhamdulillah for being blessed with a soft heart and not being as hotheaded and weak and out of control as some others.

I found out something about a person (directly from him/her) who I have known for a while and know quite well and love very much. I never would have guessed this and it's like my worst nightmare come true about that person...I cant stop thinking about it.

So, while touring over-seas, this one guy (who didn't speak English) called me Amitabh Bachan and I was like

But at this other site, another guy (who also doesn't speak English) called me Shahrukh Khan...I was going to fight him. Why would you curse at someone like that? some people are so mean

i dont like when birds chirp in the middle of the night or closer to dawn. it's kind of depressing. like the end of a peaceful era. which is what i percieve nighttime to be. peaceful isolation. away from the world. like it's not really happening but it is. like another dimension that noone discusses during daytime

DARN BIRDS NEEDS TO SHUT UP
