I'm not even sure if Ice-Tea should be considered part of the 'real' chai family

Re: My thoughts of the day...
It's ironic how it takes so much time and effort to build/make something, but only a moment's mistake or the slightest effort to break/unravel. For example, knitting or crocheting. Just tug on the string and it'll all come undone. Hmm. I suppose the same can be said for many other things.

Re: My thoughts of the day...
i'm cool. i love family. relatives. culture. tradition. religion. being different. it's awesome, alhamdulillah. i especially love family..and i love the idea of keeping in touch with my cousins and aunts and uncles even though it's so hard and i really don't keep up with them as much as i would like to and should and even though some of them are really..uh different than me..but i would take a bullet for them anyday and any one of the elders being in pain or hurt makes my heart prickle with the same.

Re: My thoughts of the day...
assalamu alaykum
mr.z came home during lunchtime, it broke up the quiet (sunny ) day I don't think I could ever live in a cold country ever again, even though I left my eye cream in the glove compartment of the car and i found it BOILING hot. I'm sure that's like deactivated it or something.
Titanic is on, i really don't see the point of watching it after jack and the blue diamond girl go running around the ship. It's just depressing after that. And why did she keep the blue diamond for so long?
I really really really need to go and clean the kitchen...wonder if i could borrow the maid from upstairs?
OK BYE

Re: My thoughts of the day...
Oh Allah, You have power over all things, I am your slave who admits to being your slave.
I am the weakest of the weak, I am the lowest of the low, I am the most ignorant, and the most poor. You Allah, You are the rich, You are the highest, You are the most powerful.
You are the provider the most forgiving, and you have brought upon me tribulation, and trialed me with what you have trialed me Ya Allah.
I beg you to give me victory, over myself, over my anger, over my ignorance.
