You're pushing it to hard. The more you think about how you can't sleep, the harder it is to fall asleep. See if Nature is on TV, or some other animal show. Those usually have narators with really soothing voices. Try reading something really really boring, like your textbook. Take a warm shower, do some yoga to relax your body, do some relaxation exercises. You have to get your mind and body in a mode for sleep. I used to get really bad bouts of insomnia, weeks at a time. It's much better now, just one or two days a month at most, or the night before a big exam.

Thanks for the advice, I can do it all except for watching those programs on PBS, my tv is not working  I miss watching Nature and House. |
