basically every desi from the homeland has something against black people. they may hide it, but they do....even if they're not outright using the word "kulloo" like many do. i've even had desi fob girls ask me, "ew how can you think that guy is attractive, he's BLACK?" a desi fob i know from campus freaked out, locked the door and called all his friends when a black muslim knocked on his door...it was his new roommate returning home from class. are you freaking kidding me? arabs are also really racist against black muslims, i did a 25 freaking page research paper on it in my last semester of college. and as a half-white muslim i've experienced enough comments against white muslims and witnessed enough retarded desi behavior towards my white muslim mom to be convinced that a lot of desis also dislike white people on some level. as for how arabs feel about white people, i'm not really familiar with that.


if anything, i feel like larger numbers of black and white muslims would help the racial tensions that already exist within the muslim community.

As I was saying, you are right about Arabs not liking black people. They also dont like Indians. My husband is in love with Indian food but he makes comments about Indian people. He says they do a lot of the cheap labor in his country so I guess they would have the same stigma as blacks and mexicans do over in the USA.

I think Arab guys like white girls but I know they also love their own women. I think they feel like their girls are clean and pure and white girls are dirty and slutty. They love us on the weekend but they dont want to bring us home to meet mom and dad. The Egyptians on my campus stare at me with their mouths open and drool slobbering out though. I think they love seeing white Muslim girls. haha.

As for Desis not liking whites, I never really noticed any behavior like that. Ive had a few Desi friends and their families loved me. I notice a lot of cliquey race behavior at my masjid though. The Arab and Pakistani girls stick to their own circles and the white girls try to mix in. The terrible part is that the white girls are the worst. They exclude other white girls. lol.

LMAOO omg I make that mistake all the time. I was at an Arabic deli one day and there was a man there who, I swear to gosh, was the most Mexican looking man Ive ever seen. I talked to him for a moment and I asked him what a word meant in Spanish and he looked at me weirdly and said "Im Arab... I dont know" hahahaha.

My friend from UAE was in the car with my husband and his wife and I and I had a spanish song playing and he yelled out "MY BROTHERS, THE MEXICAAAANS"

I think there's some people - black white arab asian... who hold ethnicity as the most important factor. And there're other people - black white araba asian... to whom it's just another topic, usually 6th or 7th down the list of priority.

I don't always know who that is though. A couple of friends were talking about the olympics, and one of them was talking idealistically about how it's the 'whole world coming together' yadi yadi. ... and how Canada is this great multicultural place.

My other friend balked at that - she said Canada has a thin veneer of multiculturalism and tolerance, and she found other places to be much more open and accepting - Europe of all places. (she's an ethnic minority here in Canada). It turns out she's very sensitive to ethnic division, and I always had her pegged as someone who didn't really think about it.

I think Islamica should ban every single thread that makes a negative comment about White people to avoid pissing off the master race. I mean after all you guys are on the internet and using computers which was invented, maintained, most importantly monitored by the good white man. You're living on a planet which dominated militarily by the good white man. So how about starting a new "White appreciation thread" in the Culture & Society sub-forum. Anyone? Regarding the thread topic, I dunno about the brownies but most Arab-Americans will soon be pretty much be indistinguishable from Whites once they lose their cultural baggage they will officially be considered White. If they refuse to consider themselves White, White Muslims will force them too anyway. Same goes for light-skinned Desis And the White Empire will continue to expand LOL.

Just as a point of interest, Muslims didn't invent the numeral zero. That's a common belief by Western Europeans who historically learned of it through the Muslims in control of Spain, but they were transferring that knowledge from elsewhere (likely the subcontinent).
