Oh no, I dont mean to offend its just that recently in our area and people I know - all muslims, well you cant tell if they are muslims or not. I know that these mulimahs could be more sincere in their salaah and islamic duties than me - but why the need to show your bodies. Im a firm believer in reserving to show all that to your husband in the privacy of your home. It just sends the wrong signals to guys and I hate the "if you've got it, flaunt it" attitude.
There are many ways to dress and look attractive and feel good about yourself but I draw the line when it comes to revealing your bodys.
Im sorry heba - i hope you dont take it the worng way but I also hope that you understand the point im making.

imaan, I do understand the point you're making. Though, in heba's defense, every time she posts a picture, the thread gets derailed into lecturing her on how she should dress. I really do think she is aware of the opinions against her dress and I don't think it's fair to point this out on every picture she posts. If anything, I think a private PM to her would do more than pointing it out in front of everyone.

Shadha - you're totally right but in my defense I dont really log on to islamica much and not aware of hebas previous pics or comments by others. but yep, I totally agree I should've pm'd her.....sometimes I act first and then think

imaan, no no, I think everyone is also aware that you aren't addicted to this place like the rest of us  . My post wasn't only directed at you but it also was a reminder for others who are aware but continue to preach.

Shadha - dont worry im not offended by anything you've said. I actually admire you wanting to protecting the image of soneonelse. If we all thought the same way - the muslim ummah wouldnt be in the state it is today. Our Prophet AS did say to make 70 excuses for your muslim/brother or sister.
