Salaam all.

I don't really know what to put in and what not so I'll just keep it simple..

I was taken to hospital by ambulance on Friday morning and had to stay there for a while.

Alhumdulillah it wasn't serious heart problems like the emergency crew originally thought, but I am suffering both psychologically and physically so am please asking you for duaa's.

This is a very difficult time in my life and this is the last thing I need but it is all connected..
I acknowledge I have eating problems but they stem from my personal tensions and problems.

I'm really sorry to anyone that I've been mean to or been horrible to on Islamica.. I never meant to if I did..I don't wanna go on and on in this post.... I don't want any sympathies but because I feel like my own duaa's have not been enough, I please ask someone out there to make a small but sincere duaa for my problems to cease.. coz the day before being taken to hospital had been my breaking point... I am ashamed for feeling so weak and fed up with my life and I truly wish I could express what's happening but it's all just too much.

I visited Allah's Apostle while he was suffering from a high fever. I touched him with my hand and said, "O Allah's Apostle! You have a high fever." Allah's Apostle said, "Yes, I have as much fever as two men of you have." I said, "Is it because you will get a double reward?" Allah's Apostle said, "Yes, no Muslim is afflicted with harm because of sickness or some other inconvenience, but that Allah will remove his sins for him as a tree sheds its leaves."

Annie, I'm sorry to hear you're going through such a difficult time. Remember, rough patches are just that -- patches. You will get through it inshallah, we are all here for you and you're in our du'as. At the end of the day Allah is always there to help, there to listen and forgive.

اللَّهُمَّ أذْهِبَ الْبَاسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، اشْفِ وَ أنْتَ الشَّافِى، لا شِفاَءَ إلّا شِفاَؤُكَ، شِفاَءً لَا يُغاَدِرُ سِقَماً

O Allah, remove the hardship, Oh Lord of Mankind, grant a cure, for You are the Healer, there is no cure but from You, a cure which leaves no illness behind.

Make a deal with Allah also that if he gets you out of this situation that you will inshaAllah try your best to perform extra prayers, or whatever it is that you think you are lacking. As none of us are perfect.
InshaAllah you will be in my duas, and in the mean time remember that we all go through hard times.
Even the prophet (pbuh) when he was going through so much pain and didn't receive any revelation for a while, the idolators said "poor Muhammad his God hates him and has abandoned him".
So Allah revealed this surat ad dhuha:

Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee

And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before.

And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content.

Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)?

And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance.

Sorry to hear this Annie,

May Allah(swt) increase you in health and sabr sister. Ameen to all the duas in this thread......please don't keep what you're feeling all bottled up, share them with someone. Problems have a way of magnifying out of proportion when left to simmer in our minds. Chances are, things aren't as bad as they seem and insha'Allah.......there is always a way out.


I remind myself of this verse when things get tough.

And we task not any soul beyond its scope, and with Us is a Record which speaketh the truth, and they will not be wronged. (23:62)


Another thing I try to remind myself when I feel mired in difficulties is that life is but a trial. We are being tested in dunya as to who is best in faith and deed.
