Subject: [GITS] Opportunity to save a life

Dear Friends,
One of my cousins has been diagnosed with blood cancer. The doctors have advised him to go under a bone marrow transplant. He does not have much time left to undergo this procedure. Unfortunately his family is extremely poor and they are not able to raise such high amount of money. We have surveyed all the major medical facilities in Pakistan which provide this procedure. The only choice we have is; Armed Forces Bone Marrow Transplant Centre, Rawalpindi , Pakistan . The treatment costs around 1500,000 Rs (15 Lakhs). We have tried all the resources I had and have been able to collect some of the money. But still I and his family have a long way to go with respect to finances.
Therefore my request to all of you is to look into the matter and contribute some money (if you can). This is indeed more than a noble cause to save somebody’s life and we should not just let it go. The best motivation for me is Hope. Hope to live.
Seeking help financially or morally is needed the most at this particular time. If you have anybody who can help this patient to survive please come forward and let me know. We have also launched a small website for this specific instance. It has all the information and if anybody has some other queries, they are more than welcome to contact me.
