Jazak Allah Khair everyone, i will slowly get back to those that have PMed me. At the moment it's just hospital hospital hospital.
We recieved a letter from the Genetics doc and it's a very high possibility she has it. Even if the tests were to come negative, she can still have it. We will only know the severity of it as she grows older. It's so hard seeing my child struggle for breath after every feed. All night i was awake, i can hear her struggle, so i couldn't sleep. InshAllah she will be sent home with the NG tube and we are being trained to feed her.
I ask all of you to make such strong and big duas that if she has it (which she does as we can now notice all the symptoms the doc has described) then may it be the mildest form of it. For example, less suffering, her picking up to feed through mouth asap so the NG tube wont cause discomfort, for her heart murmur to give her less pain etc and may Allah SWT minimise all the features of Costello Syndrome inshAllah she grows up with confidence. We have a heart battle ahead of us, i know all my time will have to be dedicated to Aleena but i guess she is our gift from Allah SWT. Like my husband says, she will enter Jannah inshAllah for her struggles and make our chances of entering Jannah higher if we look after her with love and proper care without frustration.
But I'm a mother in the end and seeing her suffer breaks me in pieces. It's so hard coming home and finding all her things empty. Sad part is, my nana was SO unwell at the end of his time. My mum had to give him SO much attention it was unbelievable. She is having the same types of things done to her, like MRI scan, ultrasounds, limb tests etc. Now mum is here to support us but she is scared to leave me all alone.

Thanx for the update sis.. we are all makin duaa it is the mildest form if it is indeed Costello Syndrome..
And as your husband said, you will inshAllah be rewarded for your struggle..

For the past few days Aleena was feeding well through tube, she didn't look like in pain when the milk was going through tube and her reflux had stopped. However today it's all back and she is vomitting large amounts....which means she is losing weight. It's very hard especially when I have had no chance to rest and look after my stitches etc. I am sleep deprived, emotionally shattered to see my daughter suffer and constantly worried about what to expect next with her condition...of course I am scared of losing her. I just dont know how to cope anymore. It's too much at the same time. On top, i keep thinking my nana is still alive and talking about him in present tense. I never got to see him for the last time so to me, he'll always be around kind of thing.
I hope you are all making constant duas for my little one. This was so unexpected.
