Default To talk or not to talk?

FOR THE BROTHERS -- When considering a sister for marriage, would you ask the parents to let you guys talk to gauge compatibility before making an official proposal?

If yes, then what would to talk to her about? I am asking cuz I am in this situation now but not sure what we’ll talk about when and if we start talking?

FOR THE SISTERS -- Would you want to talk to the brother before deciding on accepting and rejecting a proposal or would you just take your parents word for it?

What would be your preferred medium of communication with a marriage candidate, i.e”: PHONe, MSN, YAHOO, EMAIL ETC ETC?

It's hard... Like I can't seem to decide if AIM is a better communication medium or MSN?

no u should not talk to each other at all.... in fact even after marriage dont talk... cause apparently if its not that important to get to noe the person before marriage... why then would it matter afterward???

on a serious note... yes talk to your potential before marriage/engagement.. why make the commitment if you arent even compatible

Don't say anything to her directly, talk to yourself as if it were a soliloquy to pry the information you require as in this following example.

Him- 'I wonder if she has a name, i must know if she does'

Her- 'I wonder if he knows my name is Zangula'

As long as you keep references to each other in third person you will technically not be talking to each other thus not commiting sin. Similar rules apply to interactions on instant messaging applications.
