Do you mean loving someone until death? Because that's kind of the backbone of marriage.

Or do you mean loving someone so much that you don't want the world to experience them so you kill them? Because that would be murder, which is haram and illegal. And crazy, too.

There are couples out there where its been known to happen that when one of them passes away, the other literally loses all purpose of living. The last thing that kept them alive and gave them hope and energy to live is gone, and so .... soon after, they too wither away and die.

That happened to my grandmother after my aunt died (she was the baby of the family and she passed away when she was around 19). My grandmother stopped eating and taking her meds and just finally passed away.

Same here. When my dad's brothers died young [they were about 22 ~ 24] in two separate accidents one after another, my grandmother's heart couldn't bear it and she passed away soon after. And then a very short time thereafter my grandfather passed away as well.
