How to go about finding a mate
Salaams islamicans
I was wondering how one should go about finding a mate. My mother wants me to wait till I'm done with college and then get married but she's not totally opposing me getting married now. But she really isn't looking for me, she said that I'll find my own mate, so with that being said how do I find one? And also, I moved to the country, and I truely doubt I'll find a mate here where I live, so I was looking for someone maybe in a different city or state for that matter. Have any of you gone through this? Share you experiences.
Thanks.
Side note: No one really knows me at the masjid that I'm currently attending for I just moved the the area like two weeks ago.

ahhh, but do you think the internet is a bad idea?

Most of my married friends met their spouses online.
Use all the avenues at your disposal.
The internet is a tool, you just have to use it wisely.

No, I think it would make me feel even more skeptical about people and their motives... :/

My friend Mark said that he saw a ninja totally uppercut some kid just because the kid opened a window.

Re: How to go about finding a mate
Bake a bunch of brownies and hide a wedding ring in one of them. Shake up the container and wait outside the MSA hall for the brothers to leave. Once they start coming out, hold out the container and tell them to help themselves.
The one that chokes is your soul mate.
