Pointless thread. If it was meant for humor, it failed miserably.

So wahhabis aren't ahl as-sunnah? Weren't you once a wannabe 'salafi' and when everyone started switching and you conveniently 'switched' too? Don't you people have any integrity? Before making your stupid claim atleast read up on ibn 'abdul-wahhab and his movement, or ibn taymiah or better yet the whole of Hanbali madhhab or the dichotomy of ahl-al-hadith and ahl-ar-ra'y before you promote your pseudo-truths?
i stopped reading right here.

I don't know. I've never eaten wasabi, so I can't say. It looks kind of gross though, and first impressions do count for a lot these days.

Oh, sorry, wrong thread.
i thought there was a bbq sauce called wassabi?

That's like the only way to have your sushi. Eating sushi without the soy sauce mixed with wasabi is like eating chaat papri without the raita. Let me Americanize that, it's like eating spaghetti without the sauce!

As for the thread, I have no problems with Salafis, just as long as they don't have any problems with me.

Asalaamualaikum,

Err.. Ibn Taymiyyah wasn't necessarily "Wahhabi" ...they say they follow him and then claim he had opinions that he never really did.

also, it depends on how Wahhabi is defined but in general I would have to say no. There is a middle path in Islam and some "Wahhabis" have definitely walked straight off that.

*notice I emphasized some.

What do you base that claim off of?

spice: i stated my opinion and don't wish to elaborate because i know where this is going and i am in no mood to participate.

---

the reason i hate sushi is because i can't stand the smell of fish and sushi has salmon in it. I've even tried "vegan sushi" and hated it cuz of the stinky seaweed. Two things I will never eat again and can't be at the same table as: salmon or shrimp.

You don't wish to elaborate because you can't. Tell us which opinions do Salafis falsely attribute to Ibn Taymiyyah [ra] ?

It's pretty convenient answer that you "don't wish to elaborate".

Sushi is awesum...

Only if it didn't smell like dog poop mixed with rotten eggs and cow dung with expired mayo on top

I'd rather eat a wabbie instead.

Hmm...Oh Wait!! It might explode in my stomach....

so its a big No-No then

It doesnt matter how horrible your day was. If you make a claim then back it up, or dont make such claims to begin with.
