i love it when my hubby buys me all types of things, not so much jewelry, but like phones, car, navigation, video games etc.  |

Wow, lots of superficial, materialistic pros up in here. No wonder some men are always complaining about golddiggers.

True, but Islamically, he can also have 3 more wives (some would say without asking your opinion/permission) and some concubines. Islamically, you have to obey him and some would say you have to maintain the house too.
