Love is a lot like... A giant pizza.
Love, when freshly made, will burn you if you aren't careful with it. Take in a little bit at the beginning, making sure to tease your sense of smell and sight with it. As emotions and temperatures cool, you can begin to make your move.
Remember, too much love at once can hurt you too. You wouldn't eat a whole giant pizza at once, just like you wouldn't jump head-on into your love with your all in a single sitting at once.
If properly nurtured, your love, and your giant pizza, will keep you happy and fulfilled for a lifetime. |

but eating pizza after it cools isnt yummy...the cheese doesnt lace, the pizza sause doesnt ooze out....no fun.
wait. how does that relate with your analogy?

If you are correct in your love, it will never cool to the point in which your cheese won't stretch or lace as you put it, and indeed your pizza sauce will continue to ooze forever because of the warmth of your everlasting love

How do you know? Pizza never stays "a few days" in my house (it'll be finished by the next morning) so we've never gotten to see how long it goes bad after, if at all!
EDIT: Sorry Chotoo, I got confused. I thought you meant your husband looked like trouble, while the friend was better-looking.
