I think everyone's well aware of Islamic position, they choose not to implement it. Hence, you have hundreds of thread on polygamy for example.

Even if they were, the Islamic principle I'm pointing out here is that of naseeha. Humans are forgetful creatures, as evidenced by the etymological root of the word "insaan", and thus as advised by nabeyuna Muhammad [saws] we should always be constant in reminding one another. Our job is to deliver the message only and not to turn hearts this way or that.

yeah, but a lot of the polygyny threads consist of bickering because girls get emotional and then guys take advantage of that and try to irritate them even further by making ridiculous statements.

and by that time, they've totally fallen out of the naseeha and reminder realm

Polygynandry is Haram.

And, we shouldn't waste our time creating pointless and redundant threads and heed the advice our Prophet (alayhi salatu wa salaam) " man samatan najja"; "whoever remained quiet was saved."

polyandry - Polly Ann has many husbands.

Not permissible in Islam due to the difficulty in assigning lineage to the children, ie. deciding who fathered which child, and hence an impossibility in deciding inheritance and other matters.

I don't feel any way about it.

I was replying to other peoples posts about polyandry.

Polygynandry occurs when two or more males have an exclusive relationship with two or more females.

ie group sexual relationships, like what Bonobos do (the free love apes)

it's also wrong, for the same reason polyandry is not allowed (among other reasons).
