Wth?! What's wrong with that? That's what you're supposed to do.

Jamroll, I only meant males who can't deal with their own problems. Not males who love and respect their parents

Re: Sisters, would you sign a prenuptial agreement?
Family ties are important.
When life is tough, everyone goes back to their parents.
When your spouse leaves, dies, runs off with the kids, you go back to your parents. When you've lost your job, you go back to your parents.
When you've fallen ill and there's no one else to look after you, you go back to your parents.
When there's no food in the house you go to your parents.
If you fall down and scrape your knee, you go to your parents. It's what normal people do. It doesn't make one jelly spined.

I don't think the OP feels inadequate or challenged by women as much, but rather he is calling for a return to traditionalism, to eradicate a lot of the problems we find in modern society, such as wives speaking without the husband's permission to engage in backchat, and making "decisions", and other such evil things which are caused by Shaytaan.

May I ask what your fascination is with spines? Are you a chiropractor by any chance?

One of our family friend's daughter got divorced a few years back. She was really lucky that she had a pre-nup.The jerk tried to dump all his student loans on her but because they had a pre-nup she was protected from him taking all her assets. Islamically as far as I know the man has no right over the woman's money and everything she makes and contributes to the family is considered sadaqa. In the legal system it's whoever makes more most of the time ends up having to pay alimony in divorce.

Re: Sisters, would you sign a prenuptial agreement?
Disregarding any other post in this thread save the first- yes, I would have her sign it. When I'm ruler of the world I don't really want to have to give her 50%, now do I? Knowing her lawyers, she'd end up with the good half.
