If you ever get into a major argument/fight with your spouse, and you're not talking, would you still make him breakfast/lunch or prepare dinner for him, and do other favours, even though you're despising each other atm..?


To the married girls here, how have you dealt with spouses in such situations?

of course! it would be such an awesome guilt trip. and then maybe he'd apologize faster (and if not, you could call him ungrateful)

haha, but in all seriousness, i think it would be a good way to demonstrate that the love and the relationship between us was not defined or changed by the fight.

From experience:

You can not be mad at someone who is bringing you a wonderful dinner. Nothing cools anger faster than some barbecue grilled chicken.

Except maybe a tuna salad sandwich.

Well! What if you did something terribly wrong that pissed the heck out of him....and he ends up cursing you and your parents...something perhaps even worse than that...what would you do in that scenario?

um the assumption going into the marriage would be that the person isnt low enough to act like that...lack of respect for elders is a definite dealbreaker and disgusting

Hopefully most people would not curse their spouses's parents, but in a fit of anger they might criticise the parents-in-law in a way that their spouse would find hurtful.
