The "Find Shadha A Bridal Gown" Thread
AsSalamu' Alaykum,
 InshaAllah, if all goes well, by the end of Oct I would be in need of a wedding dress.   The Nikkah would be at the Masjid, so I would like to wear a white abayah. The problem is that I can't find a pretty white bridal abayah.  If I can't find a white bridal abayah, I was thinking, I may be able to get away with the traditional American white briddal gown but an informal looking one...?So let's start posting pics with website links!     shadha-

Congratulations!
  And it seems like it'd be way easier to find/make an informal white wedding dress, than a simple ethnic wedding dress (I'm thinking of SouthAsian wedding dresses which are really elaborate). I just did a quick Google search and found lots of beautiful and simple, yet elegant and indubitably bridal, gowns. Vintage lace wedding dress :: Designer wedding dress :: london wedding dress designers :: Bridal wear :: London bridalwear.

Awww, the islamic boutique one that I wore isn't available anymore.
I did stumble on this website recently, although I hesitate to say that we should support it. They basically rip off designs from other muslim clothing companies (like shukr), as well as ripping off shukr's pictures. The wedding dresses are turkish, however, and I don't feel bad about those, since they're not available for purchase in the US as far as I can tell.
