i would LOVE that address too! I have to go to a wedding in Dubai next July and I can't show up like I would to an American wedding. Apparently those girls are crazy fashionable with extra glitter preferred.

Thank you! 
I think I am better off just purchasing the dress than having one made for the reason that we're short on time and I can't sew and everyone I know who can sew works. Nordstrom has beautiful dresses!

It's not that difficult to find a nice dress within a tight budget, what's difficult is finding one that meets the hijabi code without putting a hole in your pocket.
Anyway, here's one I came across that sort of meets both ends, check it out.

You very well may get the average formal wedding gown and just modify it yourself, only that requires a sewing body. |

Hehehe, the first one looks goddess-like which I LOVE and would wear next year to the Masjid community dinner. As for the second one, I think that one is beautiful and it would work best for the backyard reception (Walimah) for the extended family next year, eh? I just need a dress for InshaAllah Oct? that isn't even close to being formal because it will just be immediate family signing the contract then the end. Ya know? Do I even need to wear white just to sign the contract? Maybe a pretty colored abayah would be appropriate?

You don't have to wear white! wear any colour you like..that'll make it a lot easier for you- just keep a look out for a beautiful abaya
