as salaamu alaikum,

I dunno if this has been asked before, but here goes.
Suppose you get along better and feel more compatible with a potential rishta's sister rather than the actual rishta. What would you do? Do you just steer clear of that entire situation knowing that it will start a heap of trouble within that family and possibly cause some heartache aswell, or would you find away to approach the girl your more compatible with?

diplomatically close off the rishta process with the sister, wait a bit, and then approach the other sister. doesn't seem like it'd cause too much drama if you're careful about it..

I would think that if it was set up so that you don't really have any relationship with the rishta, why not?

Just like sixpak said, let it cool off and then find the sister on facebook or something.

I think its a big deal, and hopefully a sister wouldnt never continue contact with someone that was previously intrested in her sister.

Depends on the potential rishta, if she knew she was not your type or may even see you as more fitting for her sister... if on the other hand she does care, you really might hurt her and cause resentment between the sisters as well.

Depends, if he's been exchanging winks and hand holding sessions to one sister and proposes to the other when it goes sour - not good

If it's dealt with like a business transaction, probably.

Either way, you're insulting the parents by insinuating one daughter isn't good enough and the other one is. Dangerous game.
