He imposes Islam on himself, not others. hes neither proud nor boastful, but gentle and well mannered. he cares about others more than he cares about himself. As Maulana Rumi once said, "divine love transforms silver into gold", so people who went through such a transformation have become religious in true sense of the word. and when you meet such people and spend some time with them, you fall in love with their personality regardless of your level of relgiousness.

-family oriented, its really important that he be good to his parents and mine
-sense of humour
-possessive
-keep his word
-honest
-available in terms of time/energy. I'd dislike it if he spent most of his day out/working and was passive when he came home.
-appreciative
-good to the needy/poor/elderly. I would probably reject someone if they were bad to the stated. really.

Its about what being very religious means...
people have tried to change it to mean something negative...
and i don't think it is.

for example,
