wanna add something, if we keep living up to other people's standard, (when is it better to get married, when to have kids etc) how will we ever live up to be who we really want to be? Learning to walk with others isn't that bad, but waiting for others to lead you the way is a waste of time.

apparently i need to talk to people with a nice/pleasent face even they ask me out of the blue why im not married. my mom said i act and look like im completely disinterested in marriage, like a feminazi. and im like, im just trying to recover from the turn the conversation took

but this is for real. one time i went to a fundraiser where i was waiting for my friend to show up so i could be with her. and didnt really knwo anyone else. so then while waiting i somehow found myself between these two newly married girls id seen around town. anyways.. they started talking about their newly married lives and then saw i wasnt chipping in much so they were like, hey, are you married? and im like nah (this was when i was 18) and they were like, sooooooo, dont you wanna get married?! and im like yeah sure..one day inshaAllah. and they were like... oh, when you get married..youll think your husband is the CUTEST MAN EVER. *giggle, giggle* and i was like...really? that's nice. i think i see my friend..see you later.
