I'm away 2 days and the place goes to pot... 
Ok a question for the girls...how much reliance would you place upon advice from a female friend when it comes to a guy... |

I'm one of those who can't trust my own instincts. But I don't think I can trust most of my friends' either. It's not because they have any kind of bad intent, but they don't necessarily share all of my values or have the same priorities in life.
But I think I'm finally getting to the point of accepting being single, which is probably healthier for me anyway. I want to get married if and when I find someone who improves my life, not just get married for the sake of being married. I think my mom hopes this is just a phase.

I trust my own instincts and Alhamdullilah, they come out true most of time......However, I like to take second opinions just to find out what people think, but the final decision is always mine!!

agreed. i definitely value my friends' opinions, but if at the end of the day i feel its better to do something different, i will.

Depends who the friend is and what their motives are.
Usually if the advice conflicts, I just do what I want.
But I'm learning that I should listen to my friends more often.
