I don't think you should be giving out so much information on a public forum.

But do you think it's possible that his sisters husband was a very abusive man or something? And maybe she's only confided in her brother about it and nobody else knows and he's just helping her by being there for her? And maybe they don't act close in front of everyone else because they'll suspect they have a secret or something. Maybe they do have a completely innocent, non-sexual secret to hide that's none of your or your familys business at this time. Not to mention the sister was in a foreign country for the first time when she got married and was all alone, maybe she needs familial moral support or something and she feels closest to her brother during these times of hardship?

You also mentioned their dad has two wives. I couldn't really understand who you meant but if you meant that these two siblings have two moms, then maybe they're just hurt or something by their family in India.
