In America is from a 00 and up. Now, clothing sizes vary per brand though, so for one brand you may be a size 3/4 and in another you may be a size 7/8. Mind games yo, mind games. There are some female clothing that is small, medium large but usually they still have numbers along with it.

Could be different in Canada, but I find a lot of clothing here is labelled Small, Medium, Large... without an actual number size.

i'd say obese would be a british size 16, but it all depends on ur height - a girl could be 5 ft and petite and obese are size 12 i'm sure.

So (according to this table I found) american size 12 would be a british size 16. I'd say that's generally a plus size, based on the average size of around 5'4. I'd personally consider myself a plus size if i became a size 12/14 though. (It's ok, i've already established I'm vain)

I'm noto sure how many girls would cry because they're happy they're skinny, unless they've just literally had the fat sucked outa them, but other people might know better.

You can buy "regular" clothes up to size 18 in most stores. Plus size isn't just a number, it's also the way they cut the clothing. So, you will find that a "plus sized" 18 fits very differently than a "normal" size 18. I've seen plus sized stores that start at size 12 If having a normal BMI, and being a size 12 in a plus sized shop with the size 32 ladies doesn't give you body image problems, I don't know what will.
