Sometimes, but it's also frustrating. I think a weeks absence is enough to make the heart grow fonder, no need to extend it beyond that.

I've never even had a relationship. My only source have been those mushy novels gushing with stories of epic love.

lol awwwwwwwww! And I don't know what romance books you've been indulging in, but romeo and juliet's every moment apart was filled with anxiety and heart wrenching pain! I think it's cute that they died together and didn't have to mourn the other for the rest of their earthly life. sigh.

Who the... who's Fabio?
Actually the naive innocent guy doesn't really suit my personality. I can't stay in character for too long.

Fabio, the weird guy who used to sell butter like products:
Diety of sexually frustrated housewives everywhere.

Re: Long Distance Relationships
Dear God. Does anyone remember when Fabio was on a rollercoaster and bird hit him in the nose and broke it? (poor bird)
Anyway, long-distance relationships... never again.

Re: Long Distance Relationships
My relationships tend to not be long in the first place so long distance is a long shot for me.

Re: Long Distance Relationships
We had to wait an ENTIRE year before my fiancee and I were even allowed to meet person to person. That was so hard, because the majority of people were betting against us. Of course, a year later, we met and Alhumdulilah we're now engaged to marry next month, but we're not going to liver together for another year. He lives an 1.5 away, doing work and school, and at the moment I'm juggling three part time jobs.
Allahu Alim, we try to look at it from the bright side- we're struggling together not only financially but now emotionally and physically. We're hoping that it brings us closer together and that it will give us a greater sense of appreciation for everything that may come out way InshaAllah.

Re: Long Distance Relationships
Generally, no.
And if its more than a full day's [16 hours] driving distance away, or more than one time zone away, then definitely no.
