i'm sure when more research is done into this then scholars can start (if they haven't already) having their say on this. What's the difference between an individual whose hormones have gone wrong and an intersex (i think there's another term for that??) in which case the individual can assume the appearance of the gender which he/she feels more comfortable with but isn't permitted intimacy with any gender/leading salah etc.

May Allah swt give us all heathly, pious children, ameen. that article was really upsetting, the poor child trying to stay away from that which he/she feels naturally attracted to

it doesnt say much about the transexual's new rights w regards to marriage and leading in salah...does that mean they're the same as before? interesting.
