my family would tell me i was found in the river for years and years and years and i believed it. they were so mean i still dont think im over it...

so a few years ago i did it to my younger brother. i told him he was adopted. it made him so angry he totally kicked my ass (hes 7 years younger than me )

oh one time i threw a spoon at my cousins head and she bled

Not a cute story, but...
I am an "only child"... also my parents were mature when i was born (mother 40 years, father 60 years...) so no grandparents, no uncles/anties, no cousins at all, and my mother wouldn't put me in the kindgarten cause she was afraid "the other kids might hit me"...

so yeah, pretty much lonely childhood, got me learning the alphabet by 3 years old and reading whole books by 5, lol... !

I remember spending my days quietly reading my books, all alone. For a long time, having lots of friends was my biggest dream! Lol, poor little me!!

I'm an only child too!! I can totally relate to part of your post. pretty lonely isn't it? but Alhamdullilah I have a good amount of cousins so it helps sometimes. My parents just were very protective growing up and pretty strict at times.

No actually people are pretty surprised how not spoiled I am. They never spoiled me at all. Always made me earn what I got. I didn't get a car until I was 21 even though I got my liscense at 17/18. My curfew was like 4 PM. Now it's maghrib if I'm lucky (and I'm 24 for crying out loud).

The floor is lava was a popular game for me during my childhood...

As a kid, I used to like playing with pencils. But one day, I stabbed myself in my upper left hand cheek and the small piece of graphite still resides in my upper left hand cheek today. The doctor told my parents that it wasn't really that serious and that it could stay in there. Naturally since it was the cheaper option, my parents kept it in there .

My brother and I used to have an obsession with toy cars, especially hot wheels. We would have car wars basically consisting of ramming each other's cars against each other or stating that such and such car had a special power. I remember he really wanted one of my cool cars so he offered me five dollars for it. Naturally, I vehemently objected but my dad forced me into doing it because he claimed it was a good deal(the cars were bought for like 25 cents each). I still have bitter feelings against my dad today. Worst deal I've ever made.

When I was really young, I was obsessed with my older brother and I wanted to be just like him. I would always cut my own hair so that it looked like my brother's. My brother had a best friend named Pascal and I would go around telling everyone to call me Pascal cause I thought my brother would think I was his best friend and hang around me more....

Asalamu Alaykum,

When I was a kid I used to collect icky tissues and make hijaabs out of them for my dolls. I also used to preach to the mothers of 2 year old babies asking them why they're daughter wasn't covering.

Fi AmanAllah
