Re: when i was a kid...
I don't really have any cute stories. I just used to climb stuff a lot, like I climbed a 20 foot tree just outside the house when I was like 3 and waved at my mom in the kitchen. She got all scared.
I climbed a 10 foot chain link fence one winter that surrounded this pool that had a sheet of ice on it. When I got to the top I lost my balance and almost fell in. This woman came and rescued me and I looked at her and said "You're not my mom!"

Re: when i was a kid...
Haha, you guys were so cute.
My turn...
The older brother [three years older] and I [5/6 at the time?] used to clown around alll the time and make our younger brother [[Hajisaab]three years younger] laugh uncontrollably. We used to love the fact that he couldn't stop laughing once he'd started. Once, mum sat the three of us down to have dinner before the grown-ups and well, we started to mess around which followed by Hajisaab's fits of laughter. He started choking and instead of stopping we carried on. Mum wasn't laughing at all.
One time, we were playing a monster game with Hajisaab on the bunkbed...basically, we were scaring him and we scared him so badly that he started to cry. We weren't allowed to make the baby cry [ ] so then we tried to get him to shutup before mum heard him. We were pulling faces, tickling him and whatnot and he just got LOUDER. My older bro thought it'd be a good idea if he got on the top bed and played 'boo', so he did. He ended up losing his grip, falling off the bunk and breaking his arm. THAT made Hajisaab laugh. If Hajisaab had a penny for everytime my older bro said "shutup, I broke my arm for you."

Re: when i was a kid...
I remember hearing a young girl ask her older brother once, if the world was "black and white in the olden days?" lol

i also thought the Prophet SAW was pakistani and was shocked to learn he spoke arabic and not urdu
i climed mango trees at some point in my youth. with my cousins. our grandma would look from her window and yell at us to get off.

Re: when i was a kid...
I got sent to the principal's office in Kindergarten for telling my classmates Santa Claus isn't real. When they started crying, my teacher called me a liar.

I'd have slapped the teacher. The myth of Santa Clause is one of the most traumatizing things in childhood, it's a big fat lie. I should know, I was lied to until age 6

Re: when i was a kid...
When I was younger I thought people born in leap years didn't grown or age between birthdays.
I wanted a unicorn so badly and for my birthday my parents got these white horses that everyone could ride and had unicorn horns put on them and while I was on the horse the horn fell off and I freaked out cause I thought I had killed my unicorn

Re: when i was a kid...
i was always a good boy but then one day while we were having a break at the aunty's house who used to teach us Quran i kicked this boy who for WEARING PINK SOCKS! what kind of boy wears pink socks??
so he told the big horrible aunty - so she called me - but i started crying so she hugged me instead of hitting me
and i was one of those kids who just used to fall over all the time. i fell over once in school and hit my face on hte floor, and my lips swole up so much i had to drink through a straw
and my siblings and cousins used to tease me about having a girlfriend in nursery (not true btw )
haha and i used to believe i could grow "older" than my sister. turns out i cant
