Re: The Pet[s] Thread
I did but not mice!
I had a cat. Her name was Lady Carrington. Allah, swt, called her back a few years ago though. My cat will be named after her, she will be Lady Carrington II. But I also want a cat named Madame Mon Ami.

That is DISGUSTING. I cannot tell you how many times I have woken up at night screaming because I have nightmares about them. It happens sometimes, the first time my husband got so worried when I woke up shouting "get them away!" Now he just thinks I'm crazy
I am deathly afraid of them. I even hate talking about them...like now. If I do it too much I WILL have nightmares. That stupid loser wheelworks' picture didnt help either (go burn in an oven you jerk )

Re: The Pet[s] Thread
i think i saw a pic when i was scrolling through this thread but i didnt get an exact image in my mind...thank god.
deathly afraid of snakes
it doesnt matter if it's a garden snake or anything...i dont care what people say..my friend said she thinks garden snakes are cute or something. i wanted to hurl. snakes are the creepiest creatures alive
edit: duh i was gonna share a story
this girl/woman i knew with like 2 youngins, had TWO freaking snakes in her HOME. her husband was obsessed with them. he bought her a python for her birthday..talk about romantic? made me wanna barf. plus, one time the python got out, she said...and she was like, yeah i guess that was because i opened her glass cage/container to clean it out..and im like, YOU THINK? then she was like, and then one time it waas soooo freaky, i dont know how it got out because i never opened its box thing..and im like, do you NOT fear for your tiny children
creepy, creepy, creepy..plus she visits the pet store once a month for a live rat to feed her snake..live because the snake needs to be able to use its killer instincts before it can satisfactorily consume the prey or whatever..THESE THINGS DONT BELONG IN HOMES.

Re: The Pet[s] Thread
I wouldn't mind a turtle, lizard, hamster, guinea pig, frog, tarantula, fishies, bunnies, kittens. I wouldn't mind a puppy either... 'cept for those are iffy Islamically.
I wouldn't even mind a snake if it were a cute garden snake or something.
But mice/rats are kinda gross.
So basically, I'm cool with most kinds of pets. As long as I get some help taking care of it; I wouldn't wanna be the only one dealing with it. And also, I wouldn't want any birds 'cause we had some and they're hard to take care of. So are bunnies actually 'cause they poop a lot.
That's all my mom has ever wanted us to have: birds, bunnies or fish. She doesn't want anything too big or furry that would roam around.
Basically, I'd prefer the smaller animals that live in cages and are easy to take care of.
I don't even really need a pet. Like, if I wanted something to take care of and be responsible for, I'd have a baby. I'd just want my kids to have a pet or two so they can learn to love and nurture and take care of other living things and all that.
